Millward Apartments

The Healthcare Workforce Housing is an affordable housing project designed and built for the nearby hospital, providing twelve two-bedroom apartments of approximately 800 square feet to employees in need. The project replaced previously deficient housing with a building that densified the site with necessary economical housing that imagines a more urban future of Jackson Hole.

Organized as a series of compact townhouses stretched along the two street fronts, groundlevel entrances open each unit directly to Jackson’s urbanizing streets. The living space on the first floor of each unit opens to outside light and ventilation on both the front and back of the building. Two bedrooms are upstairs, and below is a utility basement for storage. All of the building materials were selected for their durability and economy, for affordable construction and maintenance.
