Missoula Masterplan

This masterplanning study for an urban parcel in Missoula brings much needed retail and housing resources and proposes a new urban core to the town. Sandwiched between the river and the hospital, the project envisions a riverfront promenade along the Clark that provides a continuous pedestrian connection.
Leveraging the town’s status as a destination for music and the arts, a 500-seat amphitheater with operable facades anchors the site as a new center for culture. In summer, the west façade opens to the promenade, allowing staged events to be shared with the public. Subsurface parking provides cover during the winters and permits services and utilities to be kept out of sight.
