The Grove

The Grove is a three-phase, mixed-use, workforce housing development that offers rental and ownership living opportunities. Situated between Jackson’s nostalgic western town square and West Jackson’s building developments, the site is in a transforming community with inconsistent urban planning.

The development subdivides a formerly inaccessible block with a linear courtyard that opens to the public with a central walkway. The landscaped courtyard connects the Grove and nearby neighborhoods to the public library adjacent to the site.

A mixed-use building along the primary street includes twenty apartments on two upper floors above commercial space. Six buildings with twenty-four two/three-bedroom units flank the central courtyard, which accommodates vehicles and covers pedestrian circulation for unit access.
