This 52-unit workforce housing development on the north edge of Boulder Colorado sits on the infamous site of a former gentleman’s club of the same name. Its mission is to contribute to the transformation of this mixed-use neighborhood, that includes a homeless shelter across the street, by providing artist studio spaces along a public garden. Efficient and economical unit layouts will assure the rents remain accessible to the workforce shut out of the escalating housing costs of the city of Boulder. Cladding materials are selected for durability to keep long term maintenance costs to a minimum.
